Environment of the Sundgau gîte: The gîte is located just above the village of Ferrette. It is immersed in nature, close to the forest but all the restaurants, shops and services are easily accessible at a short walking distance. Ferrette is very close to both Germany and Switzerland : Basel (Bâle) is only 30 minutes’ drive from Ferrette, Bern and Zurich accessible within one hour fifteen minutes. From the french side of the border you can visit the Alsatian Wine Route, Colmar or the Automobile Museum in Mulhouse. There are many sports activities in Ferrette and around, plus lots of cultural outings to choose from.
